Avi Alimchandani - Founder & CEO

Prior to founding Farallon Home Health, Avi served as a Director at Healthcare Partners at Home in Chicago. Throughout his career, Avi has pioneered innovation. At Alim Builders, he was recognized as one of Chicago’s 30 Rising Business Stars by the Chicago Sun Times for creating a concept home that introduced smart living technologies. At New York-based Tishman Speyer, Avi helped manage a $350 million first of its kind private equity fund focused on investing in pioneering development projects in India.

Avi holds an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business, a Master of Commerce from the University of Mumbai and a Bachelor of Commerce from Sri Sathya Sai University, where he graduated first in his class.

Avi serves on the National Board for Home Care and Hospice Certification (NBHHC). He is a Certified Home Care Administrator and a Certified Home Care Executive.

Dr. Peter Rudd – Medical Advisor

Dr. Rudd is Professor of Medicine, active emeritus at the Stanford University School of Medicine. He has served as Chief in the Division of General Internal Medicine and Director of the Department of Medicine's Quality Assurance and Quality Improvement Programs. He currently performs a variety of clinical, didactic, research, and administrative functions in the Stanford Department of Medicine. His past research has focused on teaching quality improvement and clinical reasoning as well as enhancing patient adherence and clinical outcomes for high cholesterol and anticoagulation.

He attended Amherst College and Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine, and completed his residency training at Stanford. After a fellowship in health care planning at McGill University, he served on the faculty at the University of Chicago before returning to Stanford.

Thomas Higgins - Advisor

Tom brings to Farallon a rare depth and breadth of perspective on the healthcare industry. Tom co-founded Health Week, a national newspaper covering health business news in the United States, published by CMP Publications. He also served as Senior Vice President of Blue Cross Blue Shield of Maryland where he directed operations and staff organization.

Tom served in the administration of President Carter as a presidential appointee on the White House Senior Staff, serving as Deputy Secretary to the Cabinet. He also serves as chairman of the board of the SCAN Health Foundation, an independent philanthropy focused on reform of long term care in America.

Ketan Paranjape - Advisor

Ketan is the Chief of Staff, Health Innovation and Policy at Intel Corporation. Considering Farallon's focus on innovation in home health care and Ketan's knowledge of this healthcare vertical, his insights are invaluable to the team.

Prior to Intel, Ketan worked at Medtronics on Implantable Devices and at Fujitsu on Hospital Information Systems. He has received M.S degrees in Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences from the University of Wisconsin, Madison and his MBA from the University of Oregon.
